礼仪作为人们应该遵守的基本行为准则，是道德素养的外在表现。掌握和遵守基本的礼仪规范，对于提高外国留学生（以下简称“学生”）综合素质、树立良好的道德风尚将起到积极的促进作用。为此，结合我校实际情况，特制定本规范，望广大学生自觉遵守执行。
As a basic code of conduct that shall be observed by the people, etiquette is an external expression of moral accomplishment. The grasp and observance of the basic etiquette regulations will play a positive role in improving the comprehensive quality of foreign students (hereinafter referred to as the “students”) and setting up a good morality. Therefore, the Regulations is hereby formulated according to the actual situation of this university for the students to observe and implement consciously.
一、仪表与着装礼仪
1. Appearance & Dressing Etiquette
(一)大学生尚处于求学阶段，仪表和着装要保持朴素大方、干净整洁。
1.1 As the university students are in the studying period, the appearance and dressing shall keep simple, decent, clean and tidy.
(二)男女学生发型因人而宜，但要得体，忌浓装艳抹和留奇型怪发。
1.2 Male and female students can have different hair styles but shall be appropriate. Heavy makeup and strange hairstyles are strictly prohibited.
(三)学生不得穿拖鞋、背心、短裤出入公共场所。
1.3 The students shall not wear slippers, waistcoats or shorts in public places.
(四)不佩戴与学生身份不符的首饰。
1.4 Don’t wear jewelry in unconformity with the student identity.
二、学习与生活礼仪
2. Studying & Living Etiquette
(一)上课礼仪
2.1 Class etiquette
1.学生应在课前十分钟内进入教室，关掉手机等通讯工具，做好上课准备，端坐恭候教师到来，上课铃响后要起立，以表示对教师的尊敬。进入教室上课，要注意衣冠整洁。
2.1.1 The students shall enter the classroom 10 minutes before class, turn off the communication tools such as mobile phone, get everything ready for class and sit upright to wait for the teacher respectfully. After the bell rings, please stand up to show the respect for the teacher. Remember to dress neatly when having classes in the classroom.
2.学生如遇特殊情况，在老师开始上课后才进入教室，应特别注意举止文明：在教室门口应先止步，喊“报告”，如果教室门关闭，应先轻轻叩门，在得到教师允许后，才能进入教室；进到教室后，要向老师说明迟到原因，说话态度要诚恳，应在得到老师允许之后，方可入座；在走向座位时，速度要快，脚步要轻，不要影响他人，更不能有任何滑稽可笑的举止；在坐下之后，应立即将注意力集中起来，端坐静听老师讲课。总之，迟到学生要把由于自己迟到而对课堂秩序造成的影响减小到最低限度。
2.1.2 In case of special circumstances, a student entering the classroom after the teacher begins the class shall behave in a civilized way: Stop at the door of the classroom and then say “May I come in?”. If the door is closed, please knock at the door gently first, and then enter the classroom with the permission of the teacher. After entering the classroom, the student shall explain the reason for being late to the teacher and speak sincerely. The student shall not be seated until getting the permission of the teacher. When walking to the seat, please walk quickly and quietly not to affect other people or even have any funny behavior. After sitting down, please immediately focus the attention and listen to the teacher quietly. In a word, the students who are late shall minimize the influence on the class order caused by being late.
3.要认真听课，保持课堂安静，不准在课堂上吃零食、聊天、玩弄手机或做其他与教学内容无关的活动。
2.1.3 Please listen carefully and keep quiet in the class. Don’t snack, chat, play the mobile phone or do other activities irrelevant to the teaching in class.
4.学生在课堂上要正确、礼貌地对待老师的提问，在起立回答问题时，站姿、表情要大方，不要故意做出滑稽的举止引人发笑。说话声音要清朗，不要过低，使老师同学听不清楚。对老师提的问题如回答不出来，应起立以抱歉的语调向老师实事求是地表明。别人回答老师的提问时，不应随便插话。如主动要求回答问题或向老师请教时，须先举手，在得到老师允许后，应站立回答问题或向老师请教问题。
2.1.4 Please respond to the questions of the teacher correctly and politely in class. When standing up and answering the questions, please have decent standing posture and expression. Don’t make funny behaviors to draw a laugh deliberately. Please speak clearly and brightly. Don’t speak too low so that the teachers and students can’t hear clearly. If the student doesn’t come up with an answer to the question raised by the teacher, please stand up and describe the true condition to the teacher regrettably. Don’t get in a word at will when other student answers a question of the teacher. If any student actively answers a question or asks a question to the teacher, please hand up first and then stand up to answer a question or ask a question of the teacher with the permission of the teacher.
5.不得早退。有特殊情况，须经老师允许才能提前离开课堂。
2.1.5 Don’t leave early. Under special circumstances, the students can only leave the classroom in advance with the permission of the teacher.
6.下课铃响后要起立，主动让老师先走，要文明有序地离开教室，不要拥挤。
2.1.6 When the bell for finishing a class rings, please stand up and actively let the teacher go first. Remember to leave the classroom in a civilized and orderly way. Don’t get crowded.
(二)自习礼仪
2.2 Self-study etiquette
1.学生在进入教室、图书馆、阅览室上自习时，要关掉手机。
2.2.1 Please turn off the mobile phone when reviewing your lessons in the classroom, library or reading room.
2.学生在教室上自习时，不要交谈，不要吃零食、聊天、玩弄手机等，以免影响他人，要注意保持教室安静。
2.2.2 Don’t talk, snack, chat, play the mobile phone, or do other things affecting the other people when reviewing your lessons in the classroom. Please keep the classroom quiet.
3.草稿纸要丢在垃圾筒中，不要随意丢在教室，要注意保持教室干净。
2.2.3 Please throw the scratch paper in the garbage can rather than in the classroom at will. Remember to keep the classroom clean.
4.不要在桌椅上乱刻乱划，要爱护公共财物。
2.2.4 Don’t crave or scratch on the desks and chairs. Please cherish the public properties.
5.迟来的学生要轻手轻脚，不要影响他人。
2.2.5 The student who comes late shall walk quietly not to affect other people.
6.有外人来找的同学，应主动到教室外交谈。
2.2.6 The student shall voluntarily talk outside the classroom when a stranger is looking for him.
7.在图书馆、阅览室看书时，要爱护图书、遵守纪律，保持室内安静和整洁。
2.2.7 Please cherish the books, observe the disciplines and keep the indoor environment quiet and tidy when reading in the library and the reading room.
(三)就餐礼仪
2.3 Eating etiquette
餐厅是学生集中的地方，要自觉做到以下礼仪：
The dining hall is a place for the students to get together. Please pay attention to the following etiquettes consciously:
1.在餐厅购买饭菜时，要自觉排队；遇到有残疾的学生购买时，要主动让其先买。
2.3.1 Please line up consciously when buying a meal in the dining hall; if there is a disabled student, please actively let him buy first.
2.要节约粮食，文明就餐，不要大声喧哗。
2.3.2 Please save food, eat in a civilized way and don’t make a racket.
3.就餐后要及时将餐具、剩饭剩菜以及垃圾之类分别放到指定位置，保持就餐地点干净，尊重食堂员工的劳动。
2.3.3 Please respectively put the dishes, leftovers and rubbish in designated places after eating to keep the eating place clean and respect the labor of the employees in the dining hall.
4.要爱护公共场所的公物。
2.3.4 Please cherish public properties in the public place.
(四)学生公寓礼仪
2.4 Student dormitory etiquette
学生公寓是学生学习、生活以及活动的主要场所。学生除了自觉遵守学生公寓管理规定外，还应注意以下礼仪：
The student dormitory is the main place for the students to study, live and carry out activities. Besides actively following the administrative regulations on the student dormitory, the students shall also pay attention to the following etiquettes:
1.在寝室走廊不准大声喧哗、吵闹、吹口哨；夜晚就寝后上下床要轻；听收音机(录音机、CD机等)时应使用耳机或把音量调低，不要影响他人休息。
2.4.1 Don’t make a racket, wrangle or whistle in the passage of the dormitory; please get in and out of the bed gently after going to sleep in the evening; and please use a headset or turn down when listening to the radio (sound recorder, CD Player, etc.) not to affect the rest of other people.
2.老师及客人进宿舍，要起立，主动打招呼。
2.4.2 Please stand up and actively say hello when a teacher or a guest goes into the dormitory.
3.不随便使用或移动别人的东西；个人用品要妥善放置、保管。
2.4.3 Don’t use or move other people’s articles at will. Please properly place and store the personal articles.
4.宿舍和走廊卫生要自觉维护和主动清扫；衣物要摆放整齐美观，换下的衣服要及时清洗晾干。
2.4.4 Please consciously maintain and actively clean the dormitory and passage. Please place the clothes in order and beautifully. The changed clothes shall be cleaned and dried timely.
5.如有同学生病，要主动关心和照顾。
2.4.5 Please actively concern and take care of the sick students.
6.自觉遵守作息时间，爱护公共财产。
2.4.6 Please consciously observe the work-and-rest system and cherish public properties.
7.注意节约用电、用水，不损坏集体宿舍各种设备，如有无意中损坏，要主动承认，自觉赔偿。
2.4.7 Please pay attention to saving electricity and water and not to damage all the equipment in the collective dormitories. If something is accidentally damaged, please voluntarily admit it and make compensation.
(五)校园礼仪
2.5 Campus etiquette
校园是师生活动的主要场所，应注意以下礼仪：
The campus is the main place for both the students and the teachers to carry out activities. Please pay attention to the following etiquettes:
1.要爱护校园环境，不随地吐痰、乱丢纸屑果皮等杂物，不损坏校园公共设施。
2.5.1 Please cherish the campus environment and don’t spit on the floor, throw paper scraps, peels and other sundries, or damage the public facilities in the campus.
2.在教学区内不要大声喧哗，以免影响教学。
2.5.2 Don’t make a racket in the teaching area for fear of affecting the teaching order.
3.在学习和生活区内，骑车同学应主动下车推行，保证其他同学安全。
2.5.3 The students who ride a bike shall actively get off and push the bike in the studying and living area to guarantee the safety of other students.
4.遇到老师要主动打招呼，并礼让老师先行。
2.5.4 Please actively say hello to the teacher and make the teacher go first politely.
(六)活动礼仪
2.6 Activity etiquette
1.参加大型集会活动要按时整队入场，到指定位置就座，无故不要缺席，不要迟到。有领导、来宾到会要起立鼓掌以示欢迎。会上应适时地报以热烈掌声。遵守会场秩序及卫生，认真听讲，不中途退场，不看书报，不乱讲话，不随地吐痰，不乱扔杂物，保持会场的清洁。散会后请领导、来宾、老师先退场。
2.6.1 Please line up, enter the site and take a seat in a designated place on time when participating in a mass gathering. Don’t be absent or late without due reason. If any leader or guest is present at the meeting, please give a standing ovation. In the meeting, please give enthusiastic applause in due time. Please observe the order, keep clean and listen carefully on the site. Don’t leave before the meeting is over, read newspapers, have a loose tongue, spit on the ground or throw sundries. Be sure to keep the site clean. When the meeting is over, please make the leaders, guests and teachers leave first.
2.学生在参加学校、院(系)、班级等举办的各种赛事时，要自觉遵守规则，尊重对手，服从裁判，做到文明参赛。切记不要借机起哄，扰乱正常比赛秩序。
2.6.2 When participating in all kinds of competitions held by the university, school (department) and class, please consciously observe the regulations, respect the rivals, obey the referee, and take part in the competitions in a civilized way. Be sure not to kick up a fuss by the opportunity and disturb the normal competition order.
三、交往与谈吐礼仪
3. Communication and conversation etiquette
(一)与老师谈话的礼仪
3.1 Etiquette when having a conversation with the teacher
1.和老师谈话时，学生应主动请老师坐下。若老师不坐，学生应该和老师一起站着谈话。若老师让学生坐，则学生可以和老师坐着谈话。
3.1.1 The student shall actively make the teacher sit down when having a conversation with the teacher. If the teacher doesn’t sit down, the student shall talk with the teacher while both standing. If the teacher permits the student to sit down, the student can sit down and talk with the teacher.
2.和老师谈话时，学生无论是站着还是坐着，都应姿势端正，双目注视着老师，认真听老师讲话。
3.1.2 No matter the student is standing up or sitting down, the student shall always have a regular posture, stare at the teacher and listen to the teacher carefully when talking with the teacher.
3.如果老师说的话学生感到不理解，或有不同看法时，学生不必隐瞒，应谦虚而诚恳地向老师请教，直到弄明白为止。
3.1.3 If the student doesn’t understand the words of the teacher or has different opinions, please consult the teacher modestly and sincerely until he gets to know rather than hiding the questions.
(二)学生进办公室的礼仪
3.2 Etiquette when the students enter the office
1.学生进入老师办公室必须敲门或报告，得到老师允许后方可进入。
3.2.1 Please knock at the door or report before entering the office of the teacher. The students shall not enter the office until obtaining the permission from the teacher.
2.不论是老师找学生，或学生有事请教老师，在办完事后，都应在得到老师允许后，有礼貌地离开办公室。
3.2.2 No matter the teacher is looking for a student or a student has something to ask the teacher, please politely leave the office with the permission of the teacher after finishing.
3.学生在办公室时不能随意翻动办公室的物品。
3.2.3 Don’t move the office articles at will when a student is in the office.
(三)同学间谈话的礼仪
3.3 Conversation etiquette among students
1.说话态度要诚恳、谦虚；语调要平和，不可装腔作势。
3.3.1 Please speak sincerely and modestly in a gentle intonation. Don’t strike an attitude.
2.听同学说话时，态度要认真，不要轻易打断别人的话，插话或提问时，要先打招呼。
3.3.2 Please listen to the talk of the students carefully. Don’t disturb other students’ words easily. If you want to break in or ask a question, please say hello first.
3.若同学说得欠妥或说错了，应在不伤害同学自尊心的情况下，恳切、委婉地指出。
3.3.3 If the classmates say something improperly or wrong, please point out earnestly and politely without hurting the self-esteem of such students.
4.谈话内容要真诚实在，要实事求是地谈出自己对事情的看法。
3.3.4 Please talk sincerely and honestly and express your true opinions about something.
5.不说胡乱恭维别人的话，不说使别人感到伤心、羞愧的事，不说不文明的污言秽语。
3.3.5 Don’t make a compliment to somebody at random or say something which makes others feel sad and shamed and uncivilized bestial words.
(四)异性同学交往礼仪
3.4 Communication etiquette between heterosexual students
1.男女同学在校内共同学习、朝夕相见，为了彼此之间相处得更好，建立正常的同学关系，男女同学都应该以礼相待，互相尊重，互相帮助。
3.4.1 Male and female students study and meet together in the university. In order to get along better with each other and establish a normal classmate relationship, both male and female students shall treat others with courtesy, mutual respect and mutual help.
2.男女同学交往要得体，男同学应彬彬有礼，女同学应温文尔雅。
3.4.2 In the process of communication among male and female students, the male students shall behave in a refined and civil manner and the female students shall be gentle and cultivated.
3.异性同学之间的接触，事前应得到女同学的同意，举止言谈要文明大方，要有礼貌，谈话时间不宜过长，相互之间要保持一定距离。
3.4.3 During the communication between heterosexual students, a permission shall be obtained from the female students in advance. The behaviors and conversations shall be civilized, decent and polite. Please don’t talk for a long term and remember to keep a certain distance between each other.
四、实习与就业礼仪
4. Internship & Employment Etiquette
(一)实践礼仪
4.1 Practice etiquette
见习、实习是学生走向工作岗位前学习基本技能的关键环节。学生除遵守见习、实习单位和学校的规章制度外，还要注意以下礼仪：
Probation and internship are key links for the students to learn basic skills before going to work. Besides observing the rules and regulations of the probation and internship units as well as the university, the student shall also pay attention to the following etiquettes:
1.见习、实习的学生，要按照见习、实习单位的要求着装，注意仪表整洁，切忌邋遢。
4.1.1 The students taking a probation and internship shall dress neatly rather than slovenly according to the requirements of the probation and internship units.
2.要做到早到晚走，做到腿勤、手勤、眼勤、脑勤，树立良好形象。
4.1.2 Please come early and leave late and keep diligently in legs, hands, eyes and brain to set a good image.
3.要虚心学习、刻苦钻研，尊重指导老师。
4.1.3 Please learn modestly, study assiduously and respect the instructors.
4.要合理使用各种见习、实习器材和办公物品，做到廉洁自律，勤俭节约。
4.1.4 Please reasonably use all kinds of probation and internship instruments as well as office supplies to ensure being clean, honest, self-disciplined, diligent and thrifty.
5.在医院见习、实习的学生还要视病人为亲人，不可为学习技术而增加病人痛苦，要保守病人信托的一切秘密和隐衷，要学会做病人的思想工作，增强病人战胜疾病的信心。
4.1.5 The students taking a probation and internship in the hospital shall consider the patients as relatives and shall not increase the pains of the patients for the purpose of studying technologies. Please keep all the secrets and privacies of the patients, learn to do ideological work of the patients and enhance the confidence of the patients to conquer the disease.
6.要努力培养高尚的职业道德。
4.1.6 Please make efforts to cultivate noble professional ethics.
(二)离校礼仪
4.2 Leaving etiquette
学生在毕业离校时，要注意文明离校礼仪，做到安全、文明、有序。离校前夕，要和老师、同学话别，相互赠送临别赠言；为母校做一些有意义的事情；为学弟学妹们树立良好形象。切记不可借机起哄、滋事生非、损坏公物。
When the students graduate and leave the university, please leave the university in a civilized way to ensure safety, civilization and order. On the eve of leaving, please say goodbye to teachers and classmates and present parting words to each other; do some meaningful things for this university, and set a good example for the brother-sister-school students. Be sure not to kick up a fuss, cause troubles or damage public properties by the opportunity.
